This 8 Days Ultimate Tanzania Safari which is a combination of extensive wildlife game viewing drive in some of the best wildlife game viewing areas in northern Tanzania and relaxing by the beach in Zanzibar which offers miles and miles of sandy beaches allows us to experience the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit. Upon your arrival into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), and after clearing customs and immigration, you will be met by your Joica Tours And Safaris representative who will transfer you to your chosen accommodation in Arusha.Overnight will be at your accommodation awaiting for your safari on the following day..

Early morning after breakfast, we depart to Tarangire National Park. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forest. The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet! After Lunch and an extensive game drive, we head for our comfort partner lodges in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Early morning after breakfast, we depart to Ngorongoro crater. When you first see Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. Concealed by the steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, and glistening lakes and swamps. The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. It is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve which is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. The drive down the into the Crater is an adventure in itself and when you reach the Crater floor, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands. After Lunch, we drive to the Serengeti National Park.

Early morning after breakfast, we continue with our en-route game drive in the Serengeti to Karatu. Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. Late afternoon, drive straight to Karatu through Ngorongoro conservation area.

After breakfast and rest today will drive from Karatu to Arusha Airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar Airport. On arrival you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Zanzibar Stone Town. Zanzibar is a Semi-autonomous part of the United Republic of Tanzania in East Africa. It is the Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, which comprises town main islands of Unguja (Informally referred to as Zanzibar) and its sister island Pemba as well as about fifty smaller islets. The land area of the two main islands is approximately 2,332 square kilometers of which Unguja is 1,464 square kilometers. Zanzibar (Unguja) is mainly a low lying island, with its highest point at 120metres above sea level.

After breakfast, you will head straight in the city of Stone town before traveling to the northern coast of Zanzibar known as Nungwi which has the kind of white coral sand that seems to glow even after nightfall. For its entire bustle, it can still feel secluded. Nungwi’s expansive coastline is wide open for swimming and snorkeling in some of Africa’s most pristine, reef-rich waters. It’s one of the rare Zanzibari beaches untroubled by severe undulations of high and low tides, making it perfect for all-day water activities. Deep-sea fishing near Nungwi is top-notch, with opportunities to catch kingfish, Dorado, yellow fin tuna, and enormous striped marlin from the Indian Ocean. There are plenty of activities on offer — walking tours, sunset cruises, diving excursions, and parasailing to name a few — but all it takes is a sunset sighting of traditional dhow boats bobbing in the sea to be captured by this enchanting African beach
